Dr. Bhabatosh Biswas is a proficient interventional cardio Groups in India with more than 40 years of experience. He has performed more than Thousands Interventional Cardio surgeries and procedures and is the Director at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata. He has received many awards for his excellent work such as Sir Nil Ratan Sircar Gold Medal, National scholarship, College Silver Medal for Medicine during his MBBS, etc. He completed his MBBS, MS General Surgery, DNB, and MCh (Cardiology) from University of Calcutta, Kolkata, and FRCS from Edinburgh, (UK) in 2017. He has a special interest in acute Coronary interventional cardiology including Coronary and peripheral angioplasty treatment of arrhythmias and failure and structural heart disease, Rotablation Angioplasty, Bifurcation stenting, CTO, and left main and peripheral interventions. He has attended various National and International Conferences, CME Programs, and workshops regularly to update the recent improvement in cardiac surgery. He has several national and international publications and articles to his name such as Indian Heart Journal, Indian Journal of Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, and the Calcutta Medical Journal, etc. He has worked at many Prestigious National and international Hospitals and undergone training in Interventional Cardiology at Cleveland Clinic in US. He was the former vice-chancellor of the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata and Former Vice President, National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
