Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery

Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery

Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery includes all surgeries that are done on an individual to enhance or change, repair or replace, and/or improve their physical appearance including rhinoplasty and facelifts, mastectomies and breast reconstruction; liposuction and tummy tucks, and reconstructive surgery for individuals who have suffered from illness. Making this choice is a very personal one, but is often easier and much more affordable when you travel overseas. Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery is among the most researched specialty on CureMeAbroad and draws thousands of international patients per year - and for good reasons. Surgical teams in India, Turkey, and Thailand receive the same medical education and training from internationally recognized medical schools as U.S. trained surgical teams, perform procedures in JCI (Joint Commission International) accredited hospitals and are approximately 50-70 percent less costly than their western counterparts - and there are no wait lists.

Overview

What's included?▸ Cosmetic and plastic surgery covers a wide range of procedures — from rhinoplasty and facelifts to breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tucks, and eyelid surgery. On the reconstructive side, you'll find breast rebuilding post-mastectomy, burn and scar treatment, and hand surgery. If it involves reshaping or restoring the body, it likely falls under this category. Why do patients travel abroad for this?▸ The savings are the most obvious reason — a rhinoplasty that costs $10,000–$15,000 in the US can be done for $2,000–$4,000 in India or Turkey by equally qualified surgeons. But it's not just cost. Many international hospitals have shorter waiting times, more attentive post-op care,...

6 weeks after 4 surgery in Turkey, at 27 years old Hi, i did my 4 surgery because i was aging prematurely, with a lot of excess skin around my eyes and fat around my cheeks, even though I'm 1m70 and 56kg. I was botched in France (I'm French) 2 years ago, for my rhinoplasty, with the "ultrasonic technique". It took me 2 years of difficult breathing issues, and a bit of depression, to have the courage to do my "glow up" and have my revision rhinoplasty. I had the following operations: Temporal (endoscopic) lifting for lasting results Revision of my rhinoplasty Bichectomy / Buccal fat removal Injection of my stem cells (of my fat) And to be transparent about the price, it was 8000€, for 10 days in a 3* hotel with breakfast, and I was really treated like a princess (their hairdresser washed my head while I was sleeping , and the nurse recorded a 5 hour video of my operations, to give me confidence and real proof of what they did.)

I got a nose job, probably the best thing I ever did after years and years of fighting it trying to convince myself to love the way I look. I used to have a side part and stress over people seeing my profile, to the point I couldn't go to the movies for a date because they'd have to sit right next to me. I can freely put my hair up in a pony tail and not be genuinely debilitatingly terrified of people seeing me from the side. Just very very freeing and I feel so pretty and so strong from the confidence it gave me.
