There are many doctors at ID, but I insisted on the Director (Dr. Park). He is a busy man, so the consultation is focused and quick, but his expertise is undeniable. My revision two-jaw surgery was successful after a previous doctor elsewhere failed. He is a life-saver.

As an international patient, the 2026 'ID-Synchro' service was seamless. They provided airport pickup and a 1:1 translator who stayed with me even during the consultation with Dr. Park. His 'Surgery-First' approach meant I didn't have to wear braces for a year before my jaw surgery.

The hospital is massive (16 floors!), but Dr. Park makes time for the important details. He was very honest about my chin—he told me I didn't need a full osteotomy, just a minor refinement. I appreciated that he didn't push for more surgery than necessary.

I watched Dr. Park on Let Me In years ago and finally booked my V-line surgery. He is very academic and precise. He used 3D-V Logic scans to show me exactly where my nerves were to ensure a safe cut. The result is a perfect, slim jawline that looks natural.

I came from the USA specifically for Dr. Sang Hoon Park. He is the 'Double Jaw Authority' for a reason. In 2026, ID Hospital feels more like a tech center than a clinic. My recovery was half the time I expected thanks to his 'No-Tie' method.

I recently wanted to get my nose tip and nose bridge reduced, so I came for a consultation... I consulted with the director [Dr. Sang Hoon Park] and the manager. When they talked about reducing the nose, they asked me what I was talking about and said that my nose was so useless that it would be hard to breathe. If it wasn't uncomfortable, they told me not to do anything unnecessary and told me honestly that they would only improve the tip of my nose... I really liked the fact that they recommended moderately and not excessively, so I had the surgery

I was very insecure about my small breast and wanted to get implants but was very scared. Then my friend suggested Dr. Sang Hoon Park, so I visited him at Inha University Hospital and got breast implants. I must say he is a great plastic surgeon.

Traditionally, patients requires 1–2 years of orthodontics (braces) before jaw surgery. He performs the surgery first, followed by orthodontics. This results in an immediate aesthetic improvement and reduces the total treatment time by up to 18 months.

Under Dr. Park's leadership, ID Hospital employs a "Joint Management System" involving plastic surgeons, oral & maxillofacial surgeons, and orthodontists. In 2026, they use Navigation Orthognathic Surgery, which acts like a GPS for the surgeon’s tools to avoid nerves and blood vessels in real-time.

This is a technique Dr. Park popularized to improve patient comfort. Unlike traditional jaw surgery where the mouth is wired shut (tied) for weeks, "No-Tie" surgery allows patients to open their mouths immediately after surgery, making it easier to breathe, speak, and eat during early recovery.

Dr. Park has implemented a "Real-Name Surgery System" at ID Hospital, where patients can request to see the CCTV footage of their surgery to verify if the surgery was performed by the specific doctor they consulted with.

Dr. Park invented the V-line surgery to address both a square jaw and a blunt chin simultaneously. The procedure involves reducing the jaw angle and performing a T-osteotomy (cutting the chin bone in a T-shape and bringing the pieces together) to create a slim, tapered, and feminine "V" shape.

Developed by Dr. Park, the "Surgery-First" approach allows patients to undergo orthognathic (double jaw) surgery first, followed by orthodontic treatment (braces). Traditional methods require 1–2 years of braces before surgery. This technique significantly shortens the total treatment time and provides immediate aesthetic improvement.

ID Hospital Case Manager
Dr. Park advises that if a patient has a functional bite (occlusion) and the issue is localized to a protruding or long chin, Bilateral Sagittal Split Ramus Osteotomy (BSSO) or lower jaw surgery may be safer and sufficient. Double jaw surgery is reserved for cases involving malocclusion or mid-face deformities. An exact diagnosis via 3D CT scan is required.

ID Hospital is a "hospital-level" institute, meaning it features 30+ wards, a dedicated blood bank for emergencies, a self-powered UPS system for power outages, and an on-site team of anesthesiologists who monitor patients 1:1 during and after surgery.
