Dr. Naveen Hedne

Dr. Naveen Hedne is a Senior Consultant specializing in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology. He has over 18 years of experience in the field of surgical oncology, particularly in the head and neck region. Dr. Hedne's specific interests include managing advanced head and neck cancers, lateral skull base surgeries, robotic surgeries for head and neck cancers, and addressing thyroid and parathyroid diseases. His educational background includes a Master of Surgery (M.S) in Otorhinolaryngology from J.J.M. Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India, earned in 2005. He completed a Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, in 2006, followed by a Master Chirurgie (MCh) in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, India, in 2011. Dr. Hedne contributed significantly to various research projects on head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. He also authored three chapters for the post-graduate teaching book published by the Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology. His areas of expertise include lateral skull base surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, head and neck reconstruction, speech and swallowing rehabilitation, and addressing nutrition in head and neck cancer.
